# Version 4.8. does not work!

 * After updating the plugin, I see a white screen with an error:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/686786/www/site.com/wp-content/
   plugins/xml-sitemap-feed/includes/class-xmlsitemapfeed.php on line 275

 * Hi, you need to upgrade your PHP version to at least 5.4 but preferably one that
   is still supported (=receiving security updates). Even version 5.6 will reach
   end of life by the end of this year… WordPress recommends version 7.0 or above.
