# Version Control

 * Hi:
 * We have a WordPress implementation “MultiSite” hosting 4 sites and the Database
   is running on MySQL. We would like to have two servers, one for DEV/TEST and 
   one for PROD. The purpose for this is to add a layer between our developers and
   what is in Production. The question I have is:
 * What are our options for taking whats in DEV/TEST and publishing them from a 
   file and database level to Production? Any version control software that works
   in that manner with WP?

 * When we do this on our Multisite installation (Dev/prod servers with 450+ sites)
   we export the sql file, run it thru a “search and replace” function to change
   domain and replace the production server sql.
 * Don’t know if this the best way but It works.
