# Vertical separators between blocks?

 * Is there a way to create vertical separators between the spaces in 2-, 3-, and
   4-block elements?

 * Hi Lloyd,
 * Vertical separators can’t be done because of responsive design.
 * What would happen of theses separators once the mail is displayed in a mobile/
   tablet device ? This would be troublesome.
 * If you want to make a visual separation, I suggest you to add a different background
   color to each block 🙂
