# vertically aligning text via css

 * I am in the process of producing my own theme and i’m really quite pleased with
   it so far.
 * Please have a look here [http://movieblogger.net/](http://movieblogger.net/)
 * Im a bit stuck at teh moment as I need to vertically align the side bar headings(
   i.e. categories, archives etc) so that the text is in the centre of the bar (
   if you look at the moment they are all slightly lower than they should be.
 * Can anyone help with this???

 * Your images are causing the text to be pushed down. You can either float the 
   images and then valign everything, set the padding to move the text around, or
   set the align on the image to Absolute Middle using align=”absmiddle”

 * Thank you for the link, I have seen similar articles to this but im still not
   really sure how to implement it.
 * Here is my css section for the sidebar, any chance of any1 demonstrating how 
   it should be altered?
