# Very basic Blocks question

 * Is a “File” block intended to hold only a single file? I’ve always been frustrated
   when trying to add multiple file links within the same block, usually resorting
   to the Code Editor to do so. It finally occurs to me that maybe file blocks are
   restricted to a single file.

 * Thanks so much for the clarification. No wonder I had so much difficulty!
    I 
   was trying to add groups of associated files to the same block rather than one
   file per block.
 * Don’t know how I missed that basic point!
 * I looked at the link you provided. Unfortunately the video wasn’t working but
   you were very clear in your answer.
