# video with caption shortcode not responsive

 * I tried following all [these instructions](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/embeds-with-caption-how),
   but the result was not responsive. It seems that the caption shortcode is responsible
   for breaking the responsiveness because it insists that a width is included.
 * I’m trying to show a YouTube video with a WordPress caption. Ideally I would 
   like to remove the controls, info and related videos from the YouTube video as
   well, but that may be asking too much.

 * I think I may have found the problem. I had put div class=”alignleft” around 
   the videos to float them next to each and the alignleft class was not set for
   a responsive width. I made it max-width: 100%; and it fixed the problem.
