    How do I get support for Videopress problem, embedded shortcodes Videopress videos don’t load or play.

    Is there a specific post or page with an embed where the video doesn’t load or play any more?

    What’s the browser you’re using and which version is it on?

    Hi @earl_d,

    Just circling back! We’d still love to help sort this out. Could you share:

    1. Your site URL and the page where the video isn’t loading
    2. Any error message you’re seeing (even “black screen” or “spinning forever” helps!)

    While we wait, a few quick things to check:

    • Make sure no security plugin, firewall, or CDN is blocking videopress.com, video.files.wordpress.com, or v0.wordpress.com — these are needed for playback.
    • If you’re using a third-party video player plugin, try deactivating it temporarily — VideoPress now uses HLS streaming and some older players don’t support it.
    • Try a different browser or incognito window to rule out extensions or cache.
