# “View” button missing since plug in update

 * Hi there
 * For various reasons I did not update the plugin for a couple of years. I have
   now done so, and notice the “View” button which used to be next to the listings
   is no longer there.
 * Here is the page with the updated plug in (v 5.11.1)

   no button
 * And here is the pre-update version (I made a copy on a staging URL). The plug
   in is v. 5.3.4

   notice the “View” button
 * Not sure if it was removed, or whether something else is causing it. I have done
   quite a lot of customisation using CSS but the button is not in the source code
   so it’s not a CSS issue.

 * Thanks for getting in touch! Sorry for any confusion about this.
 * This was actually a change we made in a recent version to modernize the look 
   and feel of the directory – we felt that the View button was a little outdated.
   You can now view the listing by clicking on the title link, which is more typical
   of how modern directories function.
 * You can, however, add that back if you have the developer skills. You can learn
