    Hi @sunnyschafieh,

Sorry that you ran into issues here!

If your View Categories button is not working, it’s quite likely that the page used to display them has been deleted.

We have documentation on this here:
    https://awpcp.com/documentation/#admin

I’d suggest making sure your AWPCP required pages are not private or deleted.

I added the page again and added the shortcode and the page shows but in the menu https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img921/8855/yQ4K2n.png when you click it, it does not show. How do I change the view categories button on the menu?

    Thanks

    Hi @sunnyschafieh,

When you re-added the page, did you do this manually?

Or did you do it through the AWPCP Classified Pages tab?

If you did it manually, AWPCP is unaware of this new page. You must do it through the AWPCP Classified Pages tab and let AWPCP create the page. Use “Restore Pages” to help fix that, per the article above.

    Please let me know.

    Hi,

Yes I used restore pages and it did not do anything. How do you add a page through the pages tab?

    Thanks

OK, so I checked the settings and View Categories is the one page that is not represented as an actual page object…The settings allow you to change the name of it, but the description of the page shows this:

Name for categories view page. (Dynamic Page)

That means there’s no physical page for this in AWPCP, like the others. If you want to remove this option, I would suggest doing the following:
    – Change the text to something small, like a single letter.
    – Use custom CSS to hide it

Here is an article about how to use custom CSS with AWPCP in a way that doesn’t get overwritten on upgrade of AWPCP: http://awpcp.com/forum/faq/how-to-use-custom-styles-with-awpcp/

    Ok thanks
    I will try it out

in the future, do you think that it can be added as a an actual page?

    thanks
