 * When I go to view or preview a file I’m getting-

 * I changed the php.ini file but I’m still getting the same warning as I wrote 
   above. I don’t know if this is something with my host or what. If I have File
   Status as Hidden I can view the post but can’t download. If I have Public selected
   but have post type set to private then I can Download but I can’t view the post
   on the front end.

 * Thanks for your time bhaldie.
    I’m also using Ithemes Security and the User Access
   Manager plugin. I did turn them off to see if that was the problem but the same
   warning was present.

 * can you try to this instead see if you get any better results allow_url_fopen
   =0.
