Hi there! Thanks for posting. May we have you check for updates to the Jetpack plugin for your site in Plugins > Installed Plugins > search for Jetpack and try updating.
Let us know if that helps or if we can assist you further.
I have the same problem.
Viewing statistics stopped to work on 16.07.24.
Every jobpost from 17.07.24 onwards doesnt show any impressions or views.
Not using jetpack on my site.
Can we know what plugin you use to track the impression or the views?
Could you check with the developers of the statistic plugin you are using on why the Custom Post Type (job_listing) is not being tracked?
The problem relates to the “Job Statistics” function that was introduced with the latest version of WP Job Manager:
Changelog
2.3.0 – 2024-04-29
New!
- Job Statistics — enable insights like job listing page views, unique visits and search impressions to be collected and displayed to employers in the jobs dashboard.
- Add Google reCAPTCHA v3 support
Improvements:
- New: Job statistics overlay
This function stopped working for me at 17.07.24. before that date it was working fine.
Actually (@yuhani) stopped the statistics since July 17th , As for Jetpack, I haven’t used it since then, but after reading the comment, I downloaded it yesterday, but without any changes to the statistics so far.
Our developers have discovered an issue when using version 6.6 or later of WordPress that is causing the problem. They have an update to the WP Job Manager plugin, which will address the issue. I don’t have an exact timeline for a release, but you can keep an eye out for that update to resolve the issue. 🙂
Thank you for your interest and response. I wish you success.
