# Visibility function not working

 * I have not previously needed to password protect a page/post.
    Today when I tried
   to set up a Page, when I clicked the “Edit” link nothing happened. nothing.
 * I know there is supposed to be an expanded menu with options. that does not appear.
 * also, out of curiosity, the “Status: Draft Edit” option does not work either.
 * This function works on another wordpress (same version, same server) that I manage.
 * I am using Firefox on Vista.
 * edit to add: I just tested this function on IE and it works. what I cannot figure
   out is why one site works in firefox and the other doesn’t.
 * I am not sure what to check.

 * I would try disabling all your plugins first, and if that doesn’t work, try switching
   to the default theme.
 * There may be some function that is blocking you from editing those pages.
 * If that doesn’t work, I would try re-uploading all the WordPress core files to
   your site.

 * Same happened with me – I used Google Chrome and it worked – then I went straight
   back to FireFox
