Visual Editor Disabled & Custom Fields Gone after WordPress 3.1 Update

    After automatically upgrading my WordPress for 3.0.1 to 3.1, my Visual Editor is no longer functioning (it’s greyed out) and the Custom Fields widget is gone, however all other plugins seem to show and work just fine.

    I’ve seen many posts regarding this, but no viable solutions other than “disable plugins” (which I did, including renaming the directory – no effect).

    It’s not the “disable visual editor” setting in the Profile for the user account either.

    Any ideas why the visual editor and custom fields systems aren’t working?

    However, everything else works just fine… Any recommendations?
