# Visual editor loading delay

 * After one of my websites updated to 4.6 I’m having an issue with editing and 
   creating posts and pages. The post edit page gets stuck loading the load-scripts.
   php for exactly 5 minutes. After 5 minutes the visual editor finally loads but
   then I can’t switch to Text (HTML) editor. This is happening on every page and
   post, new and old. I tried disabling all the plugins and changing the theme to
   one of the default ones, flushing cache, but the issue doesn’t go away.

 * Looks like the issue is only present on my Linux workstation, just booted into
   Windows 7 and everything works fine. What could be the issue? Maybe it’s the 
   new “Content Recovery” that saves content locally that has some issues on Linux?
 * BTW I tried editing pages in Firefox on Linux and it has the same issue as in
   Chrome.
