# Visual editor missing

 * Hi,
 * My Visual editor in posts/pages is missing/disappeared.:(
 * I am not sure since when, I was not realy often updating this site and sometimes
   use html….but still….
 * – no buttons, post area is blank (if highlighted can be seen html code)
 * WP version – I think the latest, I upgraded a few days ago, but the problem was
   already there….
    I can not blame also hosting, I was reciently changing host ,
   it was the same on both, but – I have another wp on the same domain, which is
   working fine….
 * I was searching here in older posts and found a very similar problem…but not 
   real answers, for me at least….
    I read – some guys told the problem could be
   in the
 * > //public_html/wp-includes/js/tinymce/langs
 * – I checked this folder, there is an error log telling me :

   > home/user/public_html/wp-includes/js/tinymce/langs/wp-langs.php on line 15

 * – but I have no clue which one is line 15 or what I should do…..

    – switching
   to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/
   themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients)
   or whatever file management application your host provides.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin.
 * – re-uploading all files & folders – **except** the wp-content folder – from 
   a **fresh** download of WordPress.
 * – re-running the upgrade via wp-admin/upgrade.php

 * Hey,
 * I solved my problem, I hope so, I just copied all
 * > tinymce from
   >  public_html/wp-includes/js
 *  from a working installation to my non-working installation – and it seems to
   work ….
 * But …. when I was doing it first time, I wanted to copy and replace wp-langs.
   php – but it seems I have moved it instead…..it has disappeared from the first
   folder….so now – in
 * > public_html/wp-includes/js/tinymce/langs
 *  I have only
 * > wp-langs-en.js
 *  , but there is no wp-langs.php ….
    I’m not sure – it seems working now – it 
   may cause me some problems – or if needed wp can generate it ?

 * Sorry, I did not want to be unpolite. I just wanted to say I had the same problem.
   
   Anyway thanks for the help, it was a plugin problem.
