# Visual editor problem fixed with debugging enabled; what to do next?

 * Hi guys,
 * As a lot of others I am having a problem with the visual editor button not working
   + edits not updated on my pages, productpages etc.
 * My testsite has the debugging enabled and it seems to fix this issue!
    `define('
   SCRIPT_DEBUG', true);`
 * What should I do to make it work on my livesite again? I don’t want to enable
   debugging there!
 * I have no idea if this is an issue in wordpress or the theme or plugin?
    Hope
   someone can help, thank you!

 * Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one
   individually until you find the cause.
 * If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme
   to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
