# Visual Editor Problems

 * I recently moved web hosts and now whenever I turn on a plug-in that adds a button
   to the visual editor the editor disappears.
 * Firefox error console shows this:
 * Error: missing ) after argument list

   debugging. My WordPress version is 2.7:

 * Indeed!
 * I have resolved the problem in my case.
 * Firstly flush all your caches and second check your server to make sure that 
   the PHP Magic Quotes settings are disabled. You can do this on most hosts by 
   adding the following to your .htaccess file in your WordPress directory:
 * php_flag magic_quotes_gpc off
    php_flag magic_quotes_sybase off php_flag magic_quotes_runtime
   off
