 * WP strips out HTML code if I enter it in HTML mode then hit save and/or if I
   switch to the Visual editor.
 * The editor strips out basics like `<p>` or `<center>`. It’s like it **force**
corrects whatever I place in the editor before I even get a chance to post it.
 * I’ve reinstalled 3.0.1 with a fresh copy via FTP and it still happens. I also
tried creating my post/page from Notepad & paste it into the HTML portion, hit
save **without** switching back to Visual, and it’ll completely ignoring my html
alterations once I post it. I’ve tried from Firefox, IE and Safari. Same results.
 * Is there a reason why this keeps happening? It’s been an issue since WP 2.7.

 * That’s just how many WYSIWYG editors work when used in combination with (plain)
   HTML editors.

 * Remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing an updated page/site.
Or try emptying your browser cache. This should ensure that your web browser
fetches a fresh copy of the page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from
   your own cache.
 * Also disable/deactivate any caching plugin(s).

 * Esmi, thanks for the response. I tried both suggestions and it doesn’t work.
 * Do you think adding a command in the css for `<p>` and setting a line height
   would help?

 * Still need more help with this. Or is there a way to post posts/pages, using
the same “kitchen sink” options, without using the default wp editor?
