# W3 Total Cache wont stop using old css code?

 * Hi,
 * I’ve changed the color of my menu bar to blue by creating a child theme for the
   TwentyEleven parent theme. The problem is that it only works with W3 Total Cache
   disabled.
 * I’ve tried ’emptying all caches’ from the general settings with W3 total cache
   enabled but it does not utilize the new child theme css code with the menu bar
   color that I have changed.

 * I’m using MaxCDN but the ‘purge cache’ button does not work. It sends me in an
   endless loop asking:
 * > Are you sure you want to do this?
   > Please try again.

 * I’ve disabled the CDN and now the website looks the way I want it to but I would
   prefer not to do this as I’v paid for the CDN….

 * I’ve temporarily gotten around the problem by rejecting my child theme in the
   CDN tab of W3 Total Cache. This was solution was provided by tech support at 
   MaxCDN.
 * > Performance (W3 Total Cache) -> CDN Tab -> Advanced-> Rejected files: wp-content/
   > themes/twentyeleven-child/*
 * So I’ve enabled the CDN again and my CSS modifications are working but any modifications
   I make will be excluded from the CDN 🙁
