    Hi Bento team,

My other question is about some errors and warnings that the W3C validator show.

Basically these are just a few, but IMHO could perhaps be avoided with nearly no effort.

I did just start with my site and there are 8 errors, all of the same type:

Error: Character reference was not terminated by a semicolon.
    At line 657, column 60
    w-icon=”&#xf2e9″ style=”font-s

and 2 warnings, also of the same type:

Warning: Document uses the Unicode Private Use Area(s), which should not be used in publicly exchanged documents. (Charmod C073)
    At line 657, column 60
    w-icon=”&#xf2e9″ style=”font-s

Basically this is not very much (I have seen trillions of errors with other themes), but I think with a little change of the theme it could be W3C-error- and warning-free.

    What do you think?

    Kind regards,

    Thomas

    Dear Thomas,

thank you for noting this! Since the said issues stem from the icons in the “SiteOrigin Features” widget of the bundled Content Builder plugin (which is not being modified by the theme in any way), I recommend taking this to the plugin’s official support forum – updates in the SiteOrigin Builder will automatically affect every site that uses the plugin with Bento.

    Sincerely,
    Andrii / Satori Studio

Thanks for pointing to this source.

I see lots of discussions on this and will have a detailed look at them.
