 * Hi
    I have a page with some text. I want to add or edit some text but wait with
   publishing the changes for some days. If i choose to update the page as a draft,
   the page cannot longer be found, because drafts cannot be seen on the website.
   If i choose to update the page and set a publish date, i get the same problem;
   The page cannot be found untill the date i have chosen.
 * Is there a way to save these changes, and show the old version of the page untill
   i decide to publish the new changes?

 * I don’t think so, no. Not on a normal WP installation without any fancy plugins
   to do this.
 * Maybe I’m wrong though and someone knows a way to do this.

 * +1! Scheduling a revision. That’s very interesting! Will wait for experience
   input on this thread! 🙂

 * As far as I am aware, the functionality to schedule a revision doesn’t exist
   yet.

 * Could be a great trac ticked!

 * I’d argue that it would need to be submitted via [WordPress Ideas](http://wordpress.org/extend/ideas/).
   Trac is more for bugs & patches rather than a completely new feature.

 * [@prionkor](https://wordpress.org/support/users/prionkor/) it does sound interesting
   enough to be a ticket but I doubt there are enough arguments to implement it
   since there’s (I believe) a rather small group of people needing this functionality
   and it’s so easy to just return to the article and add extra content.

 * Could be added on core or by plugin. One of the use case I was thinking if I
   have a product to lunch and the content of homepage changes over time, I could
   scheduled that way.
 * I agree that would be need by small amount of people, . But when i think about
   it i feel the revision/scheduling post will be more complete with this feature.
