 * this is the error msg I get after upgrade, what should I do now, I had upgraded
   to the latest version from the previous released version

 * The problem is in one of your config files (wp-config.php or config.php in the
   bbpress dir)
    **Make sure you have no blank lines left at the end of each file.**

 * Perfect this was my issue too and removing the white space fixed it

 * I was having the same problem as above and clearing the lines at the end of the
   config file fixed it. Thanks mvandenberghe

 * For the OP I’d try uploading wp-settings.php again.

 * I have had this issue before, too(or at least a very similar issue) and the problem
   was that there was a blank space in the config file. It can happen either before
   or after the opening and closing php tags.

 * Out of curiosity, what else might be the problem if it isn’t the blank space?
 * [Edit] I notice now that it was suggested the files were in the bbpress directory
   which would most likely not be the case unless perhaps someone migrated their
   blog from bbpress and still had that directory name – perhaps that is what you
   meant by saying that wasn’t what the problem was?

 * It’s quite often wp-config because that’s the file that gets edited more than
   most, but in this case the error clearly says
 * > output started at /home/site/public_html/blog/wp-settings.php:305
 * Which is why I suggested replacing that file.
