Warning of code injection during update WP 6.0

    I tried to update to the nightly WP 6.0 version May 15 2022. While the process worked in the background I was warned on the the WP page itself that the downloaded content is not properly signed.
    Then my Acronis security app popped up a warning that there was a possible code injection with malicious content in 168 files.
    I am relatively new to WP – how would I handle this situation??
    Thank you for any advice.
