# Web security gone

 * My whole site has lost its security. It had it but now when you type in the web
   address into Google it says its not a secure site. I don’t understand whats happened
   or how to fix it.

    Your issue seems to be related to your SSL certificate and not to Wordfence.
   I advise you to contact your hosting provider to resolve this. Regards

 * [@pierreripka](https://wordpress.org/support/users/pierreripka/) is indeed correct
   that your “security” (SSL) certificate may have expired. Your hosting provider
   should be able to guide you in rectifying this as there may be payment or further
   setup required.
