 * Hello team,
 * Referring to the link above, you have mentioned that “a cache plugin solution”
   by suggesting to install either cache enabler or Litespeed.
 * My question is can I use hummingbird to do this? Because currently, I am on hummingbird
   and prefer using short pixel instead of smush. I am on Siteground and I do use
   the Cloudflare too. Though I do not use SG optimizer, only the Hummingbird to
   help with my caching.
 * Thank you!

 * Hi [@lenav7](https://wordpress.org/support/users/lenav7/)!
 * Unfortunately we don’t know if Hummingbird can take care of WebP serving too.
   The best thing you can do is just trying it out. Just make sure that you have
   disabled the checkbox _Settings > ShortPixel > WebP Images > Deliver the WebP
   versions of the images in the front-end_, and then see if Hummingbird can serve
   the .webp generated by ShortPixel.
 * Let us know how it works, please.
 * Best,

 * Alright, i will do this but how do i check to see if hummingbird serve the .webp
   generated by Shortpixel?
 * Also, do i really need the cache to work along with Shortpixel? I dont understand
   the concept much, sorry.

 * I just did what you said, I checked by opening one of the images on a new tab
   to see the extension but it still displays only .png (if that’s what you mean
   earlier). I checked before and after disabling the checkbox.
 * Maybe I should save and bulk optimize all the images?

 * Hi [@lenav7](https://wordpress.org/support/users/lenav7/),
 * Unfortunately we cannot help you checking if Hummingbird serves the .webp correctly,
   because it is another plugin’s job.
 * However, if serving the .webp by Hummingbird is not a must, I would recommend
   you to use ShortPixel for this. Please have a look at this article: [https://help.shortpixel.com/article/286-how-to-serve-webp-files-using-spio](https://help.shortpixel.com/article/286-how-to-serve-webp-files-using-spio)
 * Cheers!
