# .WEBP file format

 * I admit I was left behind, 
   i just found out about the existence of the file 
   image format **.WEBP****I wonder if it is advisable to use this format**considering
   that in some browsers it may not be supported

   In fact, many of us still love and use old good formats – JPEG, PNG and GIF where
   appropriate.

 * Actually the difference in weight without compromising the quality of the .webp
   format is remarkable.
   I wonder if the lack of compatibility in older browsers
   makes them safe to use.Or if and how to use .webp with **fallback**
