 * Hello,
 * I was checking my website on PageSpeed Insights and one of the major issues I
   needed to fix was to “Serve Images in next-gen formats”.
 * It details that “Image formats like JPEG 2000, JPEG XR, and WebP often provide
   better compression than PNG or JPEG, which means faster downloads and less data
   consumption.”
 * I use SG Optimizer for optimization and webp conversion of my images. So I do
   not know Insights is saying that I am not using webp.
    I do use Cloudflare (but
   I use the siteground integration version). I do NOT use Cloudflare for any image
   optimization or webp conversion.
 * Can you please check if my images are being optimized and are also being served
   as **webp** (could you let me know how one checks for this as well).
 * In case they are NOT being optimized and/or served as webp, what is the solution?
   I uninstalled Optimole and other image optimziation plugins to use SG Optimizer
   since I am a SG user myself and it is only logical.
 * Thank you
 * Edit: I was googling how to check if my images are being served as webp and it
   said open your website on Chrome, right-click on your image and open it in a
   new tab and then check the extenstion. When I did this, the image extension was
   not webp but was .png.

 * Hello [@hbk747](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hbk747/),
 * The image optimization and WebP generation work as expected.
 * You may confirm this by going to Site Tools > Site > File Manager and navigate
   to the directory below in which you can find the generated WebP images.
    `/wp-
   content/uploads/YYYY/MM/`
 * The issue in your case is related to the size of the images.
 * Our plugin converts PNG images that have a size below 500kB.
 * If the main image has a size above the limit, the resized versions will not be
   converted as well.
 * Regards,
    Kristiyan
