Hi heyjoecampbell!
The WebP quality level is the same as the original JPG/PNG/GIF, which means that you choose it on the Settings > ShortPixel > General screen.
Cheers!
Are you saying if I select “Glossy” all WebP images will also be processed as “Glossy”?
That’s right, heyjoecampbell.
What is the WebP Compression Quality numeric value for Glossy?
There is no numeric value, heyjoecampbell. Every time a single image is compressed and converted to WebP, our algorithms try to do this in different ways until the best quality/compression ratio is achieved, taking into account the compression method you have chosen (in this case, Glossy).
It’s best to do a few tests and then decide if Glossy is what you need. You can also check our knowledge base for more information: https://shortpixel.com/knowledge-base/article/lossy-glossy-or-lossless-which-one-is-the-best-for-me/
Best,
Thanks for the detailed explanation Gerard.
