    Hi.

    When using webp as the thumbnail image of a post the plugin does not recognize the format. It is left blank when looking at a post. Could this be supported?

    What does the plugin display instead? Is the webp image a featured image?

    What is your site URL where this is displayed.

    The plugin doesn’t do anything special to select the image type – it just tries to pick the featured image first and look for other options like the first image in the post.

    Hi Ajay,

    the plugin shows only the title instead. The place where the image should be visible is blank instead. Yes, the image is set as feature image.

    Let me see what I can do in my tests – I’ve yet to adopt the webp format so not sure what exactly could be the issue. Will need some debugging to be done for this.

    Two more questions – is this hosted on your site? Does this work if you put the link directly in the metabox of the plugin?

    I can’t promise a timeframe but will definitely look into this.
