    Hi,

Lately, my website has become very slow when accessed, after I analyzed it with the “Query Monitor” plugin, it turned out that the cause was the Rate My Post plugin.

Can you help me fix it so that my website returns quickly when it opens? my website: https://siberuang.com

    Thank u

  • There is a wider issue of an external google font issue with mobiles/cells with this plugin which sadly impacts a site core vital statistics (becoming a big issue now with SEO).. this was first brought up 7 months ago, and sadly not been resolved to date. As for the plugin load times, nearly all wordpress plugins have a process time attached, and wordpress is prone as a result to long first byte times – even with hardly any plugins used on a site at all.

My suggestion to yourself is use a decent wordpress cache system.

As for the rating plugin.. on my sites actually find it one of the fastest for execution, but on a page load speed test analysis, hits the issue of javascript referenced google fonts.

F12 plugin profile test on loading a single article with rating attached – the rating plugin is right at the bottom.. one of the fastest of plugins loaded at run-time.

    Plugin Support Blaz K.

    (@blazk)

@platinumshore the plugin doesn’t use google font, but a custom font for icons such as stars, social media icons etc. Since version 3.3.3 the font is preloaded.

@cayun I don’t see any heavy queries in the plugin but it would be helpful if you can provide more info on which query impacts your website.

    Regards,
    Blaz

ok.. will edit my post.. mean’t this one..

    XXXXX/wp-content/plugins/rate-my-post/public/css/fonts/ratemypost.woff?9e18pt

but notice in latest release now pre-loaded..

But as you say isn’t a google font.. my bad.

sadly unable to edit my previous post.. but you are right.. mean that .woff font above… which is now pre-loaded. Thanks for doing it too.
