Website Broken after using Really Simple SSL

hello!
i added the Really Simple SSL plugin to my website yesterday and activated a security certificate, i followed the prompts when installing but after it was completed the site is broken and none of the theme files or content is showing.
the plugin said that i would be able to deactivate and revert back to http but the website is still not working as it was before.
does anyone have experience with this plugin or a potential solution to remediate this?

It looks like the site experiences a “500 Internal Server” error at the moment. Your server error logs will provide more details about what causes the error to occur, so if you share this information with us, that would allow us to look further into the cause of the issue.
It seems that Really Simple SSL is still enabled at the moment, so in order to de-activate the plugin and restore the site, you can apply the steps listed here:

If this is not the case, it might be configured at the server level.
Hi, thank you so much for the reply Rogier. I did remove the options-indexes line from the htaccess file and also uninstalled the plugin following the steps outlined here – https://really-simple-ssl.com/uninstall-websitebackend-not-accessible/
Unfortunately my site is still not back to it’s previous state, any idea on what i can do or what the problem is?
@ryanfahey89 I just checked your site, it loads without issues. What is the problem you are experiencing right now? It might be caching in your browser. Did you try a private browser window?
