# Website Crash – Parse error: syntax error

 * I’m getting the following error message, which ha caused my site to go down:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/fast4war/public_html/wp-content/
   themes/ares/functions.php on line 105
 *  Can you help me fix the error or reinstall the plugin?
 * I was trying to apply the first less common fixes to the Ares theme to fix some
   HTTP 404 Errors I was getting with the Events Calendar.

 * Looks like you need to replace the Ares theme `functions.php` file with a fresh
   copy.
 * You can use an [FTP client](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients) (like FileZilla),
   or your web-host’s cPanel or file manager to do this.
