website hack

Hi,
Can anyone help.
I get the following error when logging into dashboard

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in /home/www/downwind/blog/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 3271

my site has been hacked and the ISP removed all the viruses.

Would this be because of permissions?
