    Hi,
I’m used to people hacking my site [http://www.wordnerd.co.uk] but they’ve started doing it using my real name which seems a bit odd as either they must know me or they’ve gone to the trouble of looking me up.

Are there are extra precautions I can take or is there any way of stopping them? I have the free Wordfence plugin on my site.

Thank you very much (and thanks to the person who responded to me earlier on Twitter!).

    Hi Sally,

I’d say as long as you do not have an account on your site that uses your real name, then you are fine. I can’t think of anything else you could do to prevent it as long as your name is out there on the internet.

    Thanks Brian.

None of them use my real name and my password is more than 20 characters long so hopefully it’s uncrackable.
