# Website HTTP Error after update

 * Hello,
    I recently was trying to update my website and the automatic update caused
   a 500 error. I’m not sure how to go about fixing it as I am extremely new to 
   WordPress in general. Any help us appreciated.

 * As you have mentioned, it happened because of the auto update. You must try deactivating
   all plugins from cPanel of your web hosting.
 * Also, try clearing the cache of the website.
    If that works, great. Otherwise,
   you may contact your web hosting customer support if something is wrong on their
   server side.
