    Hi!
I have this constant problem that the map on our website displays a pop-up with the message above. Also, in the background the map is full of “for development purposes only” messages.

I have created a Google Maps API key and updated it on the website. At first there was an error that the key is invalid and the map wasn’t displayed at all. Thus, I created a new key, which solved the issue (there is nothing related to Google API in the console), but the situation is back to the initial one, with the pop-up.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi there,

Thank you so much for getting in touch and my sincerest apologies for any trouble experienced.

I took a closer look at the page you linked needing help with and it seems you are currently making use of your theme’s map and not a WP Google Maps, map.

With that said, however, I can see an error that is prompting you to enable billing for the API key you have setup. I have kindly located some Google documentation to assist you with this:

On just a side note, it seems you are also receiving an abundance of JavaScript errors which are also occurring from a theme file specifically optimizer_pro. May I kindly suggest perhaps getting in contact with your theme developers to take a closer look at these errors?

To reproduce what I have seen, (using Chrome) simply click -> F12 and then click -> Console -> This should show you the Javascript errors currently occurring on this specific page.

I hope I was able to help?

    Kindest Regards,
    Steven De Beer
