# Website not loading/functioning properly in admin-mode

 * Hi!
 * Since more than a day my website is very slow when I’m working in the admin-mode.
   This is the url to my website: [http://www.theslctd.com/](http://www.theslctd.com/).
 * When I’m in the admin modus the homepage doesn’t load fully. However, when I 
   visit the website as a visitor it does load.
 * Next to that, whenever I make an adjustment and try to ‘update’ or ‘save draft’
   I first get a blank page and only after refreshing the page the update or saving
   has taken place. Normally the refreshing is not necessary.
 * Does anyone have an idea what is causing this issue and how to solve it?

 * Try clearing your caching plugin.
 * Try deactivating your plugins to see if any are causing that.
 * If not, leave them off and switch to a default theme to see if it’s a theme issue.

 * After deactivating the plugins if found which one was causing the problems.
