# Website showing database connection error

 * My WordPress website is hosted with AWS Lightsail instance and working normal
   but day by day it was going down and for last 2 days it is not working. 
   I have
   tried few step from AWS re:Post solutions but still not resolved.[https://imgur.com/a/KeAcHnd](https://imgur.com/a/KeAcHnd)
   Please Help me solve. Any help will be appreciated heartily.

 * Are you sure that you have the correct MySQL database username and password in
   the wp-config.php file?
 * Are you sure that you have typed the correct MySQL database hostname into the
   wp-config.php file?
 * If yes to both, then you’ll need to contact your hosting provider’s support to
   ask why your database server is offline.

 * I think nothing has changed because I don’t know much about the coding. Actually,
   I have updated the theme and plugins and hope it should not change the file.
 * Please guide me to check the username and password so I can resolve the issue.

 * You would need to access the database via whatever is available on the server,
   like phpMyAdmin or command line itself to confirm that database’s username and
   password.
 * Then, make sure those match what you have in your site’s wp-config.php file.
