# Weird Comments bug

 * Hey guys,
 * I have a very very weird bug on the comments.
    The whole comments section shows
   up on some posts, it shows up closed on other posts, and it doesn’t show up at
   all on some posts. Bear in mind that i have performed “select all -> bulk action[
   edit] -> comments -> allow” on all posts.
 * Here are some examples.
 * Comments show up ok.

 * Comments appear closed.

 * Comments area doesn’t show up at all.

 * Please advise me what to do or where to look! I want comments to show up on all
   posts.

 * I did. But even so, that doesn’t justify the part where the comments don’t show
   up at all..

 * Can you replicate the problem using the default theme with **all** plugins deactivated?

 * Maybe your theme is utilising custom post types. Check whether there are some
   configuration pages available for your theme. Maybe there is a setting somewhere
   that can be altered. I am afraid that such issues are really hard to investigate
   without access to the account itself.
