# Weird permalink issue.

 * Hey, i am new-ish to WP and am having an issue.
 * My blog url is: [http://d-storm1.shroom.net/desert%20storm/](http://d-storm1.shroom.net/desert%20storm/)
   
   all of the files for WP are in the directory.
 * However when I click on the “next page” link on the bottom of the page, it tries
   to go to the url: [http://d-storm1.shroom.net/desert%20storm/desert%20storm/index.php?paged=2](http://d-storm1.shroom.net/desert%20storm/desert%20storm/index.php?paged=2)
 * It adds on an extra /desert%20storm/ to the url just after the first and correct/
   desert%20storm/. How do I fix this issue and what caused it?

 * hmm.. that is weird.
    Open up your template’s index.php file and find the reference
   to this: `<?php posts_nav_link .....` followed by some code. What do you have
   after that?
 * You can go to “presentation / theme editor” in your admin panel and click on 
   your index file. It might be called something like “Main Index Template” or something.
   Scroll down and find the above and post what it says after php posts_nav_link.

 * i had that same problem, but i could only use the standard permalink (the 1st
   one).
    it didnt worked with the other three kinds of permalinks.
