SUPER Weird Problem

Hey, I have 2 woocommerce stores / facebook pages – pixels.
I have a very weird problem, the 2 stores are somehow connected.
When I change the pixel on the plugin in one of the websites, the other is changed as well.
so right now they are both connected to the same pixel and i can’t cut off the plugin connection (I want each store to have its own pixel) i tried to reinstall/datebase clean in both sites. nothing seems to help. this is some of the weirdest problem i’ve ever encountered! please help!

That’s strange! Can you please go to this page on both stores: Marketing → Facebook and compare the values of the Page and Pixel?

Also, could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here in your reply.

Hi there,

The values of the Page and Pixel are the same.

If the values are the same, that would mean the 2 sites are pointing to the same Pixel.

Connecting 2 sites to one store on Facebook would be possible if you have different catalogs, but we cannot guarantee this long term as connection issues and sync issues are bound to arise.

Do you have 2 catalogs or just one for now?

This is exactly the problem, I don’t want them to be the same. It’s two entirely different we websites with different catalogs.

Hey @dopax,

Can you please disconnect the 2 sites and try reconnecting again? During the connection process, try to choose different assets (Facebook Page) for each site.

Let us know how that goes.

That’s definitely rather strange behavior, as we’d expect each site to have its own catalog, assets, and Pixel.

We’d like to take a much closer look at this issue to see what’s causing the sites to sync with the same catalog. With that in mind, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.
