# Weird Whitespace (Margin? Float/Clear?)

 * I am currently struggling to get my friend’s custom theme working properly. I
   have posted several questions in different areas of this forum in hopes someone
   can help me with my specific issues.
 * My current dilemma is to do with my site’s CSS. However, I can’t seem to isolate
   the problem. In my sidebar under “homemade Crafts” Category Header there is extra
   margin/whitespace. The actual margin should only be 20px, but it’s more like 
   150px. I have used Firebug to try to find/fix the problem, but to no avail. I
   THINK the issue is with my hr element’s clear so I took that off, but it only
   broke the margin under the “Blogroll” Heading.
 * I need to figure out what I did wrong (I think it’s my float/clears) and how 
   to fix it so I can move on with the layout and deliver to my friend.
 * Any help would be greatly appreciated.
