 * I wasn’t able to find #rap or .rap in both the lay-out stylessheet or the print
   style sheet.
Since this looks like an important div, and I intent to massively
modify the lay-out I would like to know what this div is and what it does? Thanks
   in advance

 * It’s the main “wrapper” div that holds the contents of your site. You can add
it to your CSS style sheet if you want, but you can accomplish all the design
changes you wish without touching it.

 * Or, as Matt posted once, it’s to add a little soul.
