    Hi,

    wonder, what does it do, just changing the inventory (also of variable products?) or does it create orders?

    I’d like to have a solution easy as scanning a barcode sku (also for variations) into the search field, add/remove 1-x items of that products stock in woo! It should not process it as an order.

    Would that be able with this plugin?

    Hi Tom,

    The plugin creates a new order as ‘guest’, just like when you create an order using the admin area.

    The plugin is still being created at the moment but barcode scanning is on the roadmap. However, it will create an order. Can you tell me why you don’t want the order created?

    thanks for you answer!

    I’m looking for some solution to only change the stock of an item without creating an order cause in my case the order number is the same as the invoice number and this number have to be serial.

    So if it is easy to make it optional to create an order or not (like a plugin option) may this plugin is perfect for me 🙂

    For me the best case would be following scenario:

    In my bricks and mortar shop I have tablet where all my products and variants are listed on one screen and with the tip of my finger (ajax functionality) I increase/decrease the stock of my onlineshop (without the need of checkout or a submit button).

    Of course I would donate such a work 😉

    Hi Tom,

    What about if the POS allowed you to enter a serial number as the order number?

    This would be a way to use the POS as you describe, otherwise it would need to be different plugin.

    Yes, entering an order number should be possible. Perhaps the best way is to make it compatible with Sequential Order Pro which gives lots of options for custom order numbers.

    Type (or copy & paste) ‘BARCODE’ and an item will be added to the cart.

    Type (or copy & paste) ‘VARIATION1’ and a variation will be added to the cart.
