# what to do when installed theme errors

 * I have 2 questions about the same topic – the first is that themes errored out
   upon installation in two blogs, so that I just got error messages when I went
   to the site. One I left alone, so I need to know what to do to get a working 
   theme installed there, so that I can get back to work.
 * I think a created a new problem when I went in thru cPanel and deleted the theme
   that had the error, so I also need to know how to fix that, as well.

 * If you delete an active theme, WordPress will just revert back to the default
   theme, thus allowing you to access your site again and fix any problems.

 * Yes, you can also choose to upload a new theme and rename the broken theme file
   via FTP
