    Whats up with wordpress EMBED?

    I thought oEmbed was supposed to take a link from scribd.com etc and generate the code?

    I also used the shortcode from scribd and all are displayed as is

    Hi there,

    It can do, certainly it seems to suggest that it can. https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Embeds

    It may be a conflict with a theme or plugin you have installed, or there isn’t a connection.

    Furthermore, does the document link meant to be embedded? Is the document private? If you want I can test on my side if you have the URL.

    the raw scribd code is working so whats parsing out the shortcode?
