Whatsapp button not working

    I’ve been trying to make the whatsapp button to work sharing a post. At the end of each post I included the whatsapp link so the visotr could share the post via whatsapp. When clicking the button there is no response. It does not open Whatsapp in the desktop or mobile. What should I do?

    Hi Nick!

    Yes, I did. Under section 2 I choose “Allow users to share the page via WhatsApp” and kept all the following fields as default so I could be shure it will work. Inside the box I kept: ${title} ${link}

    Ok, it could be a conflict with the theme. Or maybe try to clear cache. By that, I mean:
    • Browser cache, see https://solutionbay.com/solutions/dont-know-how-to-clear-the-browser-cache-firefox-chrome-opera-microsoft-edge
    • Purge cache from cache plugins
    • Check if you have any server-side caching enabled (Cloudflare etc.)
    Does it work then?

    Yes! I´ve disbled all the cache and security from the server and wordpress. And also cleared everything in all my browsers. Tried also with the anonimous browser profile and cell phones. Used Chrome and Edge. Nothing worked so far.

    I’m sorry. Nothing worked so far. I am removing it. Just choose another plugin which works as expected. Since I am beyond the 14 days of testing I won’t have any refund. No problem.
