But what is the point in having a search box at the top of the page when it doesn’t work?
Clicking on the tags only seems to return one page worth of results too.
Agreed, mdrdsr. I’m a web developer and as such, refer to dozens of various forums for code, support, etc. This is easily the worst search ‘feature’ I’ve seen. Why not just keep things simple and use something like phpBB for the forums? It’s a standard that most people are used to, besides it being intuitive to search through.
The search box in the upper corner stopped working last week or so I think, but it has never worked terribly well. The best way to search the forums is either through the forum search, posted above or by using one of the other methods listed in the how to search the forums post.
It would be great if it all worked properly, but it doesn’t, to quote a forum moderator, vkaryl, from another thread on this matter: “it’s broke and we don’t know when it won’t be broke”.
Cruddy situation, but I guess we just have to make the best of it for now and at least be happy some things work 🙂
