Where is multisite media uncheck folders in year month?

    Hi I want to stop the media folders uploading into year month day and there is no checkbox in settings > media using multisite.
    When I disabled the multisite in wp_config file and then checked in the main site I unchecked the box but it still is doing it for the multisite.

    Is there a function I can add to prevent this from happening please.

    In Multisite only SuperAdmins can do this. It seems you’re a SuperAdmin, so:

    1) Go to MY SITES
    2) Select the specific site of interest
    3) Go to the SETTINGS tab
    4) Look for Uploads Use Yearmonth Folders. By default, the value should be 1. Change it to 0 to disable it for the specific site you selected.
    5) Scroll down and save your change.

    NB: I don’t know the developers’ rationale for removing the feature for Multisite administrators, and if there are any negative consequences in enabling this feature in Multisite. Thread cautiously!
