Where to add google verification code

    I am trying to add google verification code

    <meta name=”google-site-verification” content=”i1BxeR9MrUN0_o7jOwL0JsC4CDV7pyPEGCH4XCyOqo8″ />

    into Ever After child theme and I tried to put it in head.php in the parent theme but it is not working. Where should I put it? Please help.

    Do you have a header.php file in your child theme? If so, place it in the head section. Even better, get the html file from Google and upload it to your site’s root directory.
